Aishwarya Rai Bachchan left it midway

Bollywood
Finally! Heroine ready to roll in November
Finally, Heroine is ready to roll. Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming biggie – starring Kareena Kapoor -- will start rolling from November onwards. The movie had hit a dead-end when a pregnant Aishwarya Rai Bachchan left it midway. Madhur then turned to Kareena, who, incidentally
for the role.
Sources reveal that although Kareena agreed to the film in principle a while ago, she was in discussions over payment issues. She also had objections to certain scenes in the script, which she felt were too bold and intimate.
On the other hand, Madhur wasn’t keen to make major fresh changes to his script, which had already been altered for Ash. But now, both actor and director have agreed on a draft, where Kareena will reportedly be seen drinking and smoking, though she has asked for the lovemaking sequences to be toned down.

“Yes, we are finally going on floors in November. There have been some alterations in the script, but no major modifications. Kareena and Madhurji share a great rapport and she has met with him about four times,” says a source close to Madhur.

Kareena too agrees that they “have worked something out”, adding, “Hopefully, we should be able to finally see eye-to-eye on this project. But an official announcement will follow soon.”

At the same time, while reports suggest that Bebo will work on a profit-sharing system, trade sources remain skeptic and insist that she will probably pocket approximately Rs five crore for the film.

Ask Kareena and she says, “I have never spoken about money, so I wouldn’t want to comment on it.”
